After speaking with the doctor, they quickly granted me access and we got Shannon up to the ICU. Her transition out of anesthesia was much gentler this time around. A little nausea, but she feels much better about it this time. She definitely has some stitches but really looks good considering the extent of the surgery and tissue removal. She’ll be in the ICU tonight and be moved to a private room some time tomorrow. Baby is doing well. Kicking around already. I’m sure she’s hungry. Shannon is sleeping now. I’ll let everyone know as soon as she’s well enough for messages or visits.
